Chuck Stewart: Framing the Sound celebrates the extraordinary career of legendary photographer Chuck Stewart, whose iconic images helped define the visual history of jazz, soul, rhythm & blues, and American culture. Featuring rare vintage and contemporary photographc prints, the exhibition offers an intimate look at one of the most influential photographers of the twentieth century.

In addition to the Chuck Stewart exhibition, visitors will discover a curated selection of paintings, photographs, original prints, and works on paper by Jim Alexander, Raphael Bahindwa, Howard Finster, Ruth Franklin, Vyvyan Hughes, Anna Jensen, Ato Ribeiro, Panorama Ray, Mark Sandlin, Harry Underwood, Steve West, and Purvis Young. Visitors can also browse our extensive print browsers featuring affordable original prints by leading British printmakers, including Anne Desmet RA, Fernando Feijoo, Gary Goodman, Chris Pig, and many others.
